Traps
A trap is an unsolicited, asynchronous event that the MS430502M chassis generates to
indicate a status changes; e.g.: a trap is generated on the detection of a start of an
alarm and an end of an alarm. It is impo rtant to set the IP address of the manager
correctly in order to receive the traps.
The following table lists the possible traps originating from the MGNT Board:
