Introduction

Media Converter/Signal Repeater range is a MICROSENS 10G Transport Platform

allowing Media conversation and Retiming, Reshaping and Retransmission of the signal

from 155 Mb/s up to 2.5 Gb/s.

System description

The block diagram for the MS430580M is given in Figure 1. The MS430580M is a bi-

directional device that offers twice the same media convertion/regeneration

functionnality

• From one interface input signal (Line 1 or Line 2) to one interface output signal

(Line 2 or Line 1).

The MS430580M includes also several sections composed of

• Controller block, providing interfacing to the MS module series chassis controller

board hosting the SNMP Agent.

• Power supplies: generates different internal power supplies from the -48V of the

MICROSENS chassis backplane
